Meet the 2011-12 Board Members responsible for bringing the Los Angeles Professionals chapter back to life!
Chapter Leader
Sarah Dale Schwald MBA 2010 The Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito School of Management, Claremont Graduate University
What I love most about Net Impact: Net Impact members have a beautiful balance of practicality and idealism – rather than simply say; “We should save trees because it’s the right thing to do,” or say “trees are a source of profit,” Net Impact members ask; “What kind of market incentives can we create that will make people want to save trees?” It’s a smart, compassionate, and sustainable, approach to the reality of our world and the continued prosperity of all peoples.
What I love most about living in LA: Los Angeles is vibrant all over. Each community is diverse and alive with things to do and people embracing the opportunity to be active and interact with each other and their environment.

What I love most about NetImpact: I love that Net Impact brings together ordinary people united in our common passion to bring extraordinary social and environmental change to our schools, workplaces and communities. Our education or career aspirations may not be in the fields of CSR or the Environment, but we still can make a difference with the various resources, network of people and events, particularly the annual Conference that Net Impact makes possible. Being a Net Impact member is a constant reminder that we as individuals who share the same vision can make a significant impact together to improve the world.
What I love most about Los Angeles: This city has great history, great weather and great culture. The diversity of people living here brings diversity of thought, arts, music and cuisine. Also, with a vast array of businesses, there are many different career opportunities to match one’s passions. Having a great career is especially helpful to fund one’s exciting lifestyle in the big city. To do (reminder): step away from the computer, get out and enjoy the sun, sand and social scene!
